Applying for a Halifax Regular Saver

It only takes a few minutes to apply for a Halifax Regular Saver.

Open and fund your account before 20 July 2008. Please apply in branch, or online, if you are transferring money from an existing Halifax or Bank of Scotland account (we cannot accept  online transfers from other account providers, as the opening payment will not be received before 20 July 2008).

Before you begin

Make sure you have the following details to hand:

• Your Halifax Current Account details (applicable if you are an existing customer only)
• Previous address details if you have lived at your current address for less than 3 years

Important Information

If you are wishing to apply for a Halifax Regular Saver and the following condition applies:

• You currently hold a Halifax Children's Regular Saver in trust for a child;

You can apply if you are:

• A UK resident
• 16 years+

We need to verify the identity of all of our customers.  In the first instance we use a system of electronic identification and if this is successful, that's all we need to do.  The search is performed with a Credit Reference Agency, this is not a credit search and will only record the fact that we have done an ID check.

An important point
