SignVideo interpreting service

The SignVideo service is an online service for our customers who use British Sign Language (BSL). 

This service can provide you with easy access to a BSL interpreter who can talk directly to our advisors on your behalf, if you need additional support with your Halifax accounts.

They can help you with all your banking needs, including;

  • Current accounts, saving, share dealing, mortgage and credit card accounts.
  • Support with managing your bills or help with money worries.
  • Advice if you are concerned about fraud.

It’s free to use and is available Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm and 8am-1pm Saturday.

It’s fast, simple and secure.

How to use SignVideo

You can use SignVideo on a computer, smartphone or tablet. Go to SignVideo to download the free app which is available for both Android and Apple devices.

If you’re using a PC or Mac, you can access the service from the SignDirectory.

Click on the ‘Connect now’ button, to access the service via our website.

Note:

If this is your first time using SignVideo, you may need to download a one-off Live plugin. The Live plugin enables good video quality and ensures that your calls are secure. Please follow the instructions once you are connected to the Web Access page.
