Why invest with Halifax?

Help your money work harder

Investing can help your money work harder. However, there is greater risk in investing compared to cash savings. Savings accounts offer steady growth and are often quickly accessible. You should look to keep enough money in them for emergencies and short-term expenses before thinking about investing.

Complete flexibility

Our Share Dealing Account gives you complete flexibility to pick the investments that are right for you. You can get started with a regular investment from just £20 each month or invest a lump sum in a wide range of investment types. Read more about our investment options.

Flat-rate

We charge a flat-rate dealing commission each time you trade. Our customer admin fee of £36 a year so you know exactly how much you’re paying.
